The new Dayton-based professional soccer team, Dayton Dutch Lions, have announced their first press conference on April 29 at The Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio. The press will take place in the Central Town Square area at the Greene and is the official opening of a series of activities during the weekend of April 29 and May 1, 2010. The press conference will cover:
• The first official public appearance of the Dayton Dutch Lions FC
• The presentation of the former World Soccer Stars of Global United FC with over 1000 caps, World Cup winners, Champions League winners, Euro Championships experience and more.
• A presentation and explanation of community environmental campaigns, and how the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Global United FC will help create a “greener” Ohio.
Furthermore, in efforts with the Global United FC, the Dutch Lions will be recognizing and donating to local and statewide environmental organizations, as well as local governmental figures at the April 29th evening event.
As a kickoff to its inaugural season, the Dutch Lions will not only host the press event, but also help create awareness and buzz for environmental campaigns in not only Dayton, but the State of Ohio. The weekend will include local school visits, community service projects, a golf-sponsored outing at Yankee Trace and the game vs. Global United on Friday, April 30th at Miami Valley South Stadium at Bellbrook High School, 7:00pm.
Once again, the official press conference at The Greene will be located in the central Town Square area, beginning promptly at 7:30pm. The press conference is designed to identify three key achievements: 1. Show attention on the opening season of the Dutch Lions and their expectations, 2. To enjoy the insight and experience of Top World Soccer Stars, 3. To recognize and inform our community of the environment and stand the Dutch Lions plan to take.
This is an opening event no one, young or old, will want to miss! The chance to take part in the beginning of a new professional club, get signatures (such as below) and pictures with the best soccer players around the world, and learning how to create a “greener” Ohio!
