Marco Etcheverry (quite arguably the best MLS, D.C. United, and Bolivian player in history) joins the Global United squad that will play the Dayton Dutch Lions this Friday at Bellbrook's Miami Valley South Stadium.
Etcheverry had 190 caps and 34 goals for D.C. United between 1996 to 2003. Marco also played 71 times for Bolivia in the 90's until 2003, scoring 13 goals. Etcheverry scored in the 1994 World Cup against Brazil and was also awarded in 2006 with the Medal of Merit by the Bolivian Congress. Etcheverry also played successfully in Colombia and back in Bolivia.
